2019-2020 Calendar Overview

 

The Women’s Ministry Team meets on a monthly basis except for June and July.  If you have an interest in joining our team, please speak with Stacey Benning, Jan Cline, Amy Williams, Dee Weininger, or Donna Delp.

Saturday, August 10 - 11:00am

2nd Annual Ladies Splish/Splash Pool Party—Luncheon

Location:  Home of Stacey Benning (see flyer for address). Take a break! Come for fun, food and fellowship. We will supply a Sandwich Deli Platter and Water. You bring a side dish and/or dessert.

Special Guests:  Mothers of children who attend American Heritage Girls and/or Trail Life.  Bring a friend!  Please RSVP with Stacey via email: poollady295@aim.com or phone 410-971-5548. You can also sign-up on our Facebook page and in the GCH.

6 Week Fall Bible Study:  “Keep It Shut”, What To Say, How To Say It And When To Say Nothing At All, by Karen Ehman

Location; 248 Kilmarnock Drive, Millersville, Md. 

Time:  6:00 p.m.—7:30 p.m.

Early registration is requested. Please email Donna at

buzzingu@aol.com to sign-up. You will need the Study Guide and we suggest you also purchase the book “Keep It Shut”  in advance of the Study. If you need Donna to order materials for you just let her know. We will also have the opportunity to take “The Keep It Shut” 40 Day Challenge together at the end of the Bible Study. Fall Women's Retreat at Sandy Cove

This retreat is sponsored  by Sandy Cove Ministries and is subject to their pricing, policies, terms and conditions, cancellation fees etc. Invite your friend(s) and go! This will be a great weekend of worship and spiritual renewal.

4th Annual Souper Supper

Special Guest Speaker:  Mandy Memmel, Founder/Executive Director of "The Well”

We are so honored that Mandy will be with us and look forward to hearing her story of how God lead her to have a vision and heart to start this non-profit ministry for women located in Curtis Bay. 

Mission Outreach:  Donations for  “The Well”. We are asking you to bring a favorite soup, salad, side dish or dessert/   If you have a question or need additional information, please see Donna Delp. Bring a friend!

 Book Selection:  To be determined by you!!  Reader’s Choice! Please contact Jan via email at: j.cline671@comcast.net and/or give her a call with your recommendation at 410-868-6437. Your Women’s Ministry Team will review suggestions and make a selection at our September meeting. Book Selection will be published by September 30th so you avid readers can purchase and read prior to November 7th.


4th Annual Women’s Christmas Dinner & White Elephant Ornament Exchange  

Saturday, December 7th,  6:00pm – Fellowship Hall

So we can all relax, enjoy and celebrate the reason for the season we will again have our meal catered by a local restaurant. Ladies feel free to bring a favorite Christmas dessert to share with others. Tickets  will be available for purchase by November 1. Join us for great food, crafts, games, music, fun & fellowship as we celebrate the joy of the Christmas Season. We encourage you to bring a friend! You truly don’t want to miss this very special Christmas event!
